Gale in the Sail

Since the advent of boating, thousands of years ago by the Greeks, it has been a key element in the development of trade and commerce and military might of a country. The British Empire also flourished because of their control of most of the major ports and sea routes. Boating has now become a focus and passion of the rich and famous by the introduction of luxury cruise liners and yachts. Many competitive sailing events are now held to judge the naval skills of the sailors. Large cargo ships now roam the waters of the world carrying thousands of tons of goods and they are unparallel in their design and technology.
